My 9 year old son and 6 year old son have been playing knee or shiney hockey for years-- ok so mom and dad get into it too. We set up the "rink" in the living room and they use large clothes clips to hang up blankets to keep the puck in play. These pucks slide nicely along the carpet similar to a real puck on ice, or on the street-- We have berber carpet. It does not hurt to get hit with the puck even on some of their "lifters". We play so often that the black outer coating on the puck begins to flake. We have purchased these as replacements and would recommend them to anyone who prefers to play floor hockey with a puck versus the ball that comes in the hockey stick/goal set. We never play with the ball as it does not imitate a real puck. The only difference between this 3 pack and the original from the hockey stick/goal set is that it does not have the white M on one side. That's it. Have fun.

My son loves these pucks. They came in quick and work great for mini hockey. My son loves using these pucks as opposed to the mini hockey balls.

Bought this for my son because mini sticks is the rage with he and his friends. They have opted to stop playing video games to have their "play off's with the mini sticks. The pucks slide nicely on the carpet and make the game more realistic. Doesn't damage things or hurt when you get hit with them either. I would suggest you add these to the mix so the kids can have their choice of puck or ball. The kids love them so much they are all asking their parents for the pucks for Christmas!
