My 6 yr. old loved these skates! We have used them both inside and outside. They fit true to size and so far we've had no problems. Seeing how expensive some skates are, the Boys Roller Derby Venom skates were a great deal for the beginner/intermediate who also wants to look cool skating too!

We got this for my son's 6th birthday but it was too small so we kept it for our 4 year old which happens to weir shoes 2 sizes smaller. Read the reviews on Amazon and no one mentioned that it ran small. The same skate can be found at Target and all the reviews said it was 2 sizes too small/ I checked out the serial number on both skates and they were slightly different so I thought this mode/serial number would not have the same problem. . . Unfortunately, it did! Am returning it to get one that is 2 sizes bigger than my son's current shoe size! Bottom line, very nice skate! Seems well made and durable. Just runs really small!

My 9 year old son loves these skates. I love the velcro that covers the shoe strings to ensure the strings don't come loose while he is skating.

I bought these skates for my sons 6th birthday and I am very pleased with them! They are easy to take on and off and after getting used to them for a few minutes, he was flying around the rink! Another review did say about the size running small so I did get him a size 1, even though his shoe size is a 12-13. They fit great and he is so happy with them! Great skate for the price!
